Math Fact Chutes and Ladders

When the Candy Land sight word game idea came out it occurred to me that I should do something similar with my old Chutes and Ladders game. Since I am off this week, I finally had the time!

Math Fact Chutes and Ladders

Earlier tonight I saw that my bloggy buddy Heidi posted the same idea! Apparently it is in Debbie Diller's new book! Who knew I was so smart? My cards are a mixture of different facts but lighter on the subtraction since we are just starting that unit.  Hope you can use them!

  2. Lets try this again... :)

I too had the same thought when Candy Land fluttered about with sight words. My husband thought I was nuts when I scooped up 7 boxes for all the teachers on my grade level. I spent several hours differentiating the math facts with color dots. The kids LOVE the game.
