Adverb QR Code Center

I hate flu season! My poor son came home this afternoon with a fever of 102 and vomiting. All my fingers and toes are crossed that I don't get it. You would think that being out 4 days last year would have convinced me to get the flu shot but I never got around to it...again.

I made a new Adverbs QR Code Center for my 2nd graders. They love getting to use our iPads!
I like to tape the cards around the room to get my kidlets up and moving but it works as a stationary center as well.
If you don't have access to technology, you could still use these and provide the included answer key instead of using a tablet or phone to check the answers.

I also made an anchor chart that will be posted in the center along with the center directions.
I also included a black and white version for those that need to save on ink.
Would you like to win this center? Just enter below! Can't wait?  You can grab your copy HERE  for only $2.50.

New Year's Resolutions

Do you write resolutions with your students?

My 1st graders seem like they may have been ready to come back to school...

"In 2015, I will stop yelling at my mom."
"In 2015, I will stop running through the laundry when my babysitter is trying to fold it."
"In 2015, I will not hit my sister when she makes me angry."

My 2nd graders ended up sounding very mature...

"In 2015, I will watch less t.v. I will go outside or play with my legos instead."
"In 2015, I will spend more time with my family. We can play board games or go to the park"
"In 2015, I will help my little sister more. I will teach her the ABCs and to use her manners."

I recommend reading the book Squirrel's New Year's Resolution before writing to explain the concept in a primary-friendly way.
